I am devastated by the gun violence plaguing our nation. As your constituent, I beg you to address this epidemic. 

We are losing count of the number of mass shootings. Gun violence has become a public health crisis and is the leading cause of death for American children and teens. Please protect their lives more than you protect guns. 

Act now to ensure that:

• “Red Flag” laws are passed and enforced. 
• High-capacity weapons and ammunition magazines (that can rapidly kill large numbers of people) will not be easily available to civilians.
• Universal background checks are required. 
• Gun trafficking becomes a federal offense.

I implore you to enact these common-sense measures to reduce gun violence. I am praying for you and asking you to lead.
